If you think a home inspection means you get to ask the seller to fix everything… you’re in for a rude awakening.
A home inspection isn’t about perfection — it’s about ...protection. It helps you understand the home you’re buying, make you aware of needed repairs or maintenance, and move forward with confidence.
That’s not to say repairs or credits can’t be negotiated. You went under contract for a price based on an expected condition of the home. If major concerns are found during inspections, you have every right to some form of remediation. Just remember the key is balance.
